Step by step 12 steps
  1. Step 1

Basic set up... 1,2,3 are handlers, 4,5,6,7 are cutters. Blue is on offense. This is called a horizontal stack as the cutters are lined up horizontally across the field.

  2. Step 2

The cutters will cut in teams. with 4&5 cutting together and 6&7 cutting together

  3. Step 3

As one member of a cutting team cuts OUT the other cuts IN to fill the space their cutting partner just vacated.

  4. Step 4

When you set up horizontally that means you are creating open space in front of and behind the cutters. Thats why the cutters attack the space in vertical planes (IN and OUT)

  5. Step 5

If the disc moves, time your cuts with the throws (this part is hard, takes some practice)

  7. Step 7

3 has two options here... 6 coming under or 5 cutting deep. This is just a hypothetical scenario. Once the disc moves its just about finding open space and getting there.

  8. Step 8

Many times the best option is to give it back to a handler and reset the cuts and do it again if there isn't some flowy awesome downfield throw right away.
