On the pull, 1-4 are being used as our stack, 5-6 are the handlers, 7 is the isolation player.
when we receive, 1-4 take spots a few feet off the sideline, about 3 yards apart.
There are a few keys to this play - first is handler play, which we've talked about before... in this example, the defender for 6 is out of position and the handlers are going to make a safe, easy throw. 7 fakes deep, preparing to come under and grab some space for the next pass.
easy throw from a power position 6 to 7.
with the defender getting back in position, we're going to take the easy gain to a handler again. the stack adjusts downfield.
7 makes a deep cut, still looking for an isolation, but we're stuck without a throw - here's where the side stack becomes active/
the dump to 6 is well covered, and the deep run has put 7 out of position to receive an under cut. In this example, 3 makes a hard break to middle deep, hoping to draw help from #4's defender.
It works, the defender bites on helping deep, and 4 slashes in for an easy throw.
as there isn't a direct open look, we'll pull off a little bit of a reset here, letting a handler have the disc back and going to a stack in the end zone.
In case they're staying with us over on the side, this isolates our matchup again for the easy open side look
