Step by step 8 steps
  1. Step 1

To start the offense, 4 designated "cutters" (#'s 4-7) will start roughly 15 yds. from the 3 designated "handlers" (#'s 1-3).

  2. Step 2

The horizontal stack starts moving. The "cutters" must always be aware of where the other "cutters" are and off-set their movement.

  3. Step 3

"Cutters' should stay in their lanes to ensure that space is maintained. Also, constant movement is critical as well as running to the Frisbee rather than letting to come to you. Horizontal stack should stay within about a 10-30 yard distance from the "handlers."

  4. Step 4

If no advancement is made by passing to a cutter within 4-5 stall counts, the other two cutters break towards the "handle" with the Frisbee on opposite sides.

  5. Step 5

"Handlers" will then reset and repeat the process. "Cutters" continue to cut back and forth 10-30 yards out.

  6. Step 6

Once a "cutter" receives the disc, the "cutter" should immediately look to get the disc back to a "handler."

  7. Step 7

The "cutter" who has the disc should get the Frisbee to the closest "handle."

  8. Step 8

Once a "handler" has the disc close to midfield, plenty of options are viable. The most likely course of action will be to simply repeat the previous step. Another option is to go down field within the motion that the "cutters" have been maintaining the entire time.
