Disc swings TO the sideline: 1. The mark follows and stops the quick reverse pass. 2.The left defender stops the up-line. 3. Center-back defends the middle of the field. 4. Right defender guards the horizontal
The mark rotates back to a straight-ish mark. (3) is forcing the center handler to move into the backfield to receive the disc.
Disc is swung BACK TO the middle: 1. The right defender (closest to the disc) switcher to mark and stops the quick swing. 2. The center-back (4) sprints across to stop the upfield pass, becomes the right side defender. 3. The left side defender sprints to the center and becomes the center-back. 4. The former mark steps between the thrower and receiver to cut off the reverse. They remain on the left side.
The mark rotates around to a straight up mark. The diamond cup adjusts.
The disc is continued across the field: 1. The mark remains, initially forcing sideline. 2. The right side defender stop the upline. 3. The center back remains in the middle. 4. The left side defender guards the horizontal.
