Step 1

Thrower has no downfield option, squares to look directly at middle handler

Step 2

Middle and offside handler are facing the thrower. When the thrower turns to them, the middle handler cuts up the line or for a dump, the offside handler does the other cut

Step 3

As the offside thrower sees that the dump throw is going, they immediately turn back to receive a swing

Step 4

Middle handler receives the dump throw and turns over back shoulder to make a swing if its there

When the breakside cutter sees the dump throw go, they cut out anticipating the swing throw

Step 7

As soon as the swing is cut the breakside cutter comes back in to gain yards on that side

Step 8

Open side handler runs through to become a cutter, middle cutter clears to open side handler position, offside handler looks for a dishy as they move to middle handler position
