2-3-2 is designed to allow big shots and get big blocks in the deep. Don't want to allow the easy swings across the handlers and want them to put up the large shots. Having some of our best defenders in the deep or wings is important as we are relying on the 1on1 match ups.
We will only use this zone if the wind makes small break throws hard or if we are confident in our up-front marks.
This is a zone that wont always work but can get some very cheap turns for us.
The mid mid is trying to be big in the lane while also not allowing crashes from downfield to get small movement.
6-7 Must be the people in our team most likely to get blocks in 1 on 1 defence downfield. They must also be good at making an option look inticing to the offence but once the disc is in the air go to attack.
3-5 our wings are roaming the sidelines not allowing inside shots from the centrel handler, while also looking to cover crossfield hammers. This is where coms between the deeps and wings are important. If the deeps can take the hammers, then it allows for more pressure up front.
