We want to keep the disc swinging across the three handlers. Giving very little downfield movement.
When we think they are feeling laxed in the zone, we want to push up and be more agressive as the ears. When the ears do this they want to know where the other handlers are as to not allow the upline through shot such as the next step.
So Blue 2 will want to see when the offence is looking for that and react accordingly
If the Disc swings to the sideline within 5m. We Trap
1. Comes onto the Mark forcing sideline. 3. Comes into the lane to stop the huck. 2. Comes to stop the handler arounds. 4 is looking to stop the inside shots. 5. is looking to fill in gaps. This could be dropping such as to 4 or droping into space and helpign with 7. 6 is on the sideline and looking to stop the player with the disc throwing around 3. 7. Is coming across and taking away 5 as that is the shot they will look for while also giving enough time to get across to 7 if the disc goes up.
