Forced Upline (defender sits under or poaches toward swing) The defender is trying to take away the under reset and bait a turnover throw.

Step 2

Move: Cut aggressively up the line. Use a hard jab step under to freeze the defender. Accelerate to the open side for a quick give-go or continuation.

Step 3

Thrower should be ready to hit this immediately for a power position throw.

Step 4

Option #2 Forced Under (defender sits tight on upline, overcommits to deny strike) Read: The defender is preventing the upline at all costs.

Step 5

Move: Set up a fake upline, then flatten out into the reset space (angled away from the thrower).

Step 6

Get separation with a quick break cut.

Step 7

This opens up an easy dump pass and may trigger a swing or dominator sequence.
