Pull...
Caught near Sideline
disc is IMMEDIATELY centered, because we want to be in the middle of the field whenever possible. Offense sets up in split-stack offense with the isolated player on the left
If possible, the isolated player (1) draws his defender short, then goes deep for an easy score.
(easy score)
if this is not possible...
1 drags his defender deep. As soon as the space is clear, 2 and 3 "sweep" into the newly opened space. If there is an easy break pass, it is played. If not..
1 comes back in for the big underneath pass,
as after any long catch when you have nobody in front of you, 1 now looks for an immediate dump
we move the disc away from the sideline, and our standard endzone offense sets up.
returning to step 3
If neither the deep cut nor the in cut can be hit within 4 seconds, our handler seeks his/her dump.
The dump (5) does not simply wait in this space for the disc (we want to keep the disc closer to the middle of the field). Instead he/she either cuts diagonally up and into the middle of the field for a short dishy pass...
or...
or cuts back around to try to get a break-pass position
(break)
after which of course everyone gets back in our split stack positions (and if possible the disc is recentered), possibly in new positions or with the isolation on the other side of the field.
