Step by step 9 steps
  1. Step 1

The offence sets up with the disc In the middle, two downfield cutters and two handlers back at 45 degrees. The first play will be for the #2 to slash across to the break side, and the #1 to go straight deep, this sets up a big under cut from #1 on the next play

  2. Step 2

#1 goes deep, and #2 slashes across

  3. Step 3

#1 cuts under and gets the disc and #2 goes deep

  4. Step 4

When the disc is on the sideline the offence will set up with one downfield cutter, one player in the middle and two handlers back. Slightly different than the middle of the field set.

  5. Step 5

The best move is to try moving the disc back to the middle, to do this #4 currently In the middle of the field can start an upline cut, and then cut back to the centre, or if #1 can break their mark another option would be the around throw to #4

  6. Step 6

The disc is moved back to the centre to #4 with an inside throw

  7. Step 7

If the disc is unable to go to a downfield player, the middle can look to a handler for a quick give and go pass. Note the back handlers should always look to return the disc to the middle when they are given a dump pass.

  8. Step 8

In this case the best option is to make a short pass to #5, who will pass it back to #4, but I've run out of steps on my free play membership
