Step by step 7 steps
  1. Step 1

Pull: When the pull is thrown, 2 players to the scoring endzone, 1 goes to the middle and 2 are in "normal" handler positions.

  2. Step 2

Initial setup: The weave is initiated with a fake from the handler with the disc (1) to the player to the side (2). They run diagonally up-the-line to try to catch the disc in front of the handler with the disc. Meanwhile the player who started in the middle moves laterally across, ready to cut down into the reset space.

  3. Step 3

First cuts (1): Here, we have assumed that the up-the-line cut (2) was not free and so did not get the disc. The swing was free though, and they get the disc with a lateral throw (a swing).

  4. Step 4

First cuts (2): The triangle has inverted! Player 3 now has the frisbee, and player 1 should run up the line as soon as they have thrown the disc to catch it up the line. They are free and are thrown to. Player 2 comes straight down the line to try and get the swing, in case player 1 isn't free.

  5. Step 5

Completing the triangle: Now we have the disc up-the-line and have made forwards progress

  6. Step 6

Continuation: Sometimes, we are not close enough to engage the endzone people yet, so we run it again. There should be communication between the 2 handlers without the disc, one should strike up-line and one should stay back ready to strike up-line.
