Default setup when the disc is on the sideline: 2 person-cup forcing a sideline with a third player covering the breakside handler. Second layer should be guarding immediate downfield threats. The goal is to have the disc either swing toward the open side handler or move backwards.
Once the disc swings, BH moves to take the middle handler and BW, the breakside wing defender needs to split the hammer threat and the breakside handler.
If the player with the disc is a weaker thrower, we can commit to a hard trap with BH becoming part of the cup and BW pinching in even more.
If the disc swings, we try to recover to the default positions.
If the disc swings to the break side, BH drops behind the cup to stop short over-the-tops & breaks through the cup, allowing the BW to drop to help the deep space
Transitioning to person should be fairly straight forward since we should only have one player poaching in most cases.
