Step 1

This play works best if the disc is close to the sideline. The cutter that is "it" is probably 6, unless there is a poach (more on that later.)

Step 2

Everyone floods to the open side, leaving room for the handler to hit 6 with either an inside flick or an around backhand.

Step 3

As 6 cuts they should not be focused on catching the disc in the endzone, especially if the throw is an around backhand. 7 will be there as a backup if needed.

However, many teams bracket the back two cutters in the stack to help prevent this cut, but the flood opens up space for both to cut into the open space without worrying too much about causing picks.

Step 6

By splitting the poach, one of the two cutters should be open. This, however, required a more careful throw.
