This is our SECOND of three end zone plays called FLOOD and it works OPPOSITELY TO RENDEZVOUS. HOWEVER, like rendezvous all 5 cutters INCLUDING THE HYBRID begin in a vertical stack on the OPEN SIDE of the end zone while the middle handler has the disc and the reset handler is 10 yards diagonally behind them on the break side.
Just like in rendezvous, every cutter begins running to the other side of the endzone. however UNLIKE RENDEZVOUS ALL 5 OF THE CUTTERS STOP THEIR CUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENDZONE.
In the next step of flood, the person that was called- in this situation we are simulating player 5 has been called so "FLOOD 5", player 5 makes a small cut to the open side FAKING THE RENDEZVOUS CUT. SIMULTANEOUSLY the other 4 cutters CUT BACK TO THE PLACE THEY INITIALLY STARTED IN THE OPEN SIDE STACK- like a 4 cutter rendezvous.
After player 5 has made a small FAKE RENDEZVOUS cut they then change direction and explode to the opposite side of the end zone, using their defenders momentum against them. Simultaneously the middle handler throws a break throw for the goal.
The final end zone play we have is ISO and pay attention to these steps because we are going to be running ISO differently than we have been. As we can see in this scenario we have the middle handler with the disc and three people on each side, 10 yards BEHIND the disc. With the player that was called lining up on the BREAK SIDE of the field, so in this case PLAYERS 2, 3 OR 4 MAY HAVE BEEN CALLED to complete the ISO.
In this specific instance lets say we have called "ISO 3", this player will then make a cut DIRECTLY UP THE FIELD about HALFWAY into the end zone. WHILE EVERYONE ELSE STAYS BEHIND THE DISC.
Then the player called, in this case player three, will cut horizontally across the end zone TO THE OPEN SIDE and receive an easy throw for a goal. YES, THE CUTTER IS COMPLETING A BOX CUT.
