  1. Step 1

    Standard triangle initiation. except that the back point player also cuts into the hat.

  2. Step 2

    in this case the close wing (4) and the other back (3) should stay where they are to maintain connectedness and shape with the thrower. the other four can work together to rebuild shape

    meanwhile the disc can move to either outside shape point.

    now say that the disc gets thrown to the sideline, and everyone gets pulled in too far.

    This is a mess. If you see this a recognise it, here are the positions to fill in order of importance: Near back point

    near deep point. this means both getting a player to that point, and getting other players out that space.

  7. Step 7

    The Hat, and the far side back. If the problem is too many people in the hat space, and you're one of them, this could mean you tell everyone else to get out, or it could mean looking for an outside shape point you can escape to.
