As we get to the endzone we realize the need to transition and call "ISO (name)"
We configure ourselves in a way that we have three handlers back and three cutters spread evenly along the back line of the endzone. Whoever's name got called positions themselves in the middle of the endzone. Handlers move the disc among themselves while this is happening.
Get the disc back to the middle and reset the stall count.
Default ISO play: cutter in the middle of the endzone uses space to get open. Fake break side go open side, or vice versa.
SCORE! This is the most simple way this plays out, but...
Some defenses will recognize that the play is designed to only go to the isolated cutter.
Other defenders will poach the lanes because their person is not considered a threat.
How to beat this: when ISO cutter recognizes poaches, or after a stall count of 5 (handler calls out "FIVE!" or other defenders yell "POACHED!")...
ISO cutter clears to the breakside corner.
As this is happening, the cutter in the far back break side corner now makes a move to cut open side using this new space.
A final option: The cutter in the middle of the back line makes a move to the now open space in the break side corner for a hammer option or something of the like.
All together, it might look like this:
ISO player cuts...
POACHED!
ISO player clears, break side corner player cuts to open side, and back line middle player cuts to the wide open break side.
When the stall gets high or the play breaks down, the break side cutter is ready to get the dump back.
And the play resets
