Players set-up the "box". In this play, the handler will always have three options: a break side throw, a short throw, or a long throw to the endzone.
Player 2 initiates play by cutting to the break side. Players 3 and 4 set-up their cuts.
Player 3 cuts into the disc for a short throw option. Player 4 runs to the open corner for the long throw option.
If the short throw does not happen, Player 3 cuts to the break side for a second attempt on a break side throw. Player 4 runs into the disc for a short option. Player 2 runs to the open corner for the long option.
The three players cycle through the triangle to have a break side option, a short option, and a long option for the thrower.
After a successful short throw, the previous thrower becomes the break side option. The other two cutters proceed as short and long options.
After a few throws in this configuration, endzone play may be initiated.
Alternatively, player 3 can cut to the other corner for the point.
