  1. Step 1

    Starting with a forehand force in the middle of the field.

  2. Step 2

    Here the disc is swung to the forehand sideline (we will refer to that as the home sideline).

  3. Step 3

    D3 changes the force to the away sideline, in order to force the disc back to the middle of the field. Downfield defenders adjust. With the disc on the breakside sideline, D3 can play a flatter straight-up mark. D2 and D1 force their men up the line and contest dumps back.

  4. Step 4

    O2 should set up further upfield to make the inside break a viable option.

  5. Step 5

    If the disc goes back to the middle of the field, the away force is kept. The defense adjusts.

  6. Step 6

    If the disc is swung to the away sideline, D1 must loudly call the change to a home force WHILE THE DISC IS IN THE AIR. Defense adjusts.
