Step by step 7 steps
  1. Step 1

Reset sets up directly behind the disc. The helps pull the defender out of poaching the lane and it is an advantageous position to get a consistent reset. The dump defender here is just one scenario but note that there are many ways that a defender may choose to position themselves here.

  2. Step 2

With the defender playing on the force side of the reset, option 1 is toward the breakside. This is essentially a scrape cut

  3. Step 3

If that option is covered then the thrower pump fakes and the reset changes direction and get the disc on the open side. One of these two options should be open the majority of the time.

  4. Step 4

  5. Step 5

Option 1 is going upfield for a reset to the open side with power position

  6. Step 6

If that option is covered then the thrower pump fakes and the reset changes direction. This results in a scrape cut and an unmarked look at the breakside
