1 person in the endzone, the rest spread out in a 1-3-1 setup
Make sure we have good spacing, 4 and 2 should be a fair bit away from the endzone, we dont want to let them get easy help defense, and 1 should be far back, so the 1 defender cant help out on a dump pass from 4 to 3
we have two points of attack.First is a cut from 2 or 3 to the open side corner. This is often good off a dump swing but can come at any time. If you are ever poached, just do this cut! But ofcourse one cut at a time!
if the pass is not open, ither shoot deep or dump the pass, dont be too locked in your position, we can all have all positions.
remember to clear! And to make space for others to clear as well!
as the 5 player, we want to take up a central position in the endzone and be directly sideways with our defender, try to have eyecontat with the person with the disc while allways staying sideways with your marker.
At any time a big breakthrow can go, this pass is into space away from the defender! This means our player will allways win the race to the disc if they bodyblock correctly! This is the same pass as the isolation pass.
If we are having truble with the sideways setup, the handler/player with the disc can give a small fake, this is a sign to the cutter that they are freen now they can cut and move as they please and get open if they can.
