popper crash. mid from that side covers. if the popper from the other side had crashed, the other mid would cover it. the mids are essentially playing man defense on the poppers when the disc is in the middle

popper goes deep. short deep covers, closest back helps. mid whose popper went deep goes to cover the spreader that the back left open. you'll notice that all of these crashes have someone being passed off to the short deep. This is because the short deep is the only player that can pick up a new person without leaving a dangerous player uncovered. this is by design. the short deep is sort of like the janitor, cleaning up any holes or openings that might be left by other players moving to cover a look
