Setting up in the middle of the field. Handlers can kind of feel out where they want to be, they just need to be very aware of poaches if they set up in front of the disc. In the middle of the field it's similar to our vert endzone, our first look is at a a guy "on stage" who is hopefully set up well to make a front of the stack cut.
He makes a hard cut, doesn't dance and we don't hit him! He clears to the back corner of the side he cut to with the other two cutters getting ready to fill in as above. Now the three handlers should have free reign with the space we have created in the backfield.
We swing to sideline and try and dominate with the handlers with a quick give and go.
He is pumped off and now the other handler likely sets up behind the disc and we try to get it off the line very similarly to POSITION 3 in the vert endzone.
The handler sevens to set up as the front of the stack and the trapped thrower should be able to either have an open io or an easy around dump depending on what the mark chooses. If we are picking up on a sideline it's the 3rd handler that will be the front of the stack.
We hit the dump, and we need a continue likely from the back of the two person stack. We hit that and set up again OR we are now back to a dominator handler set with the 3 handlers. The person who just threw it off of the line is set up in Beta in a great position for a give go.
Cutters clear hard and cycle as outlined before, and look for opportunities to score and yell when they are poached. Beta handler clears across and gets it, up field handler cuts to his vacated space as another option if Beta handler is not hit.
Hit a continue to our on stage player and celebrate!
