Step by step 9 steps
  1. Step 1

Disc is in the middle of the field so we are in POSITION 1. Our primary look is the front of the stack. Front of the stack should set up open side to open up space.

  2. Step 2

Front of stack makes their cut and then clears hard! likely to the middle of the stack. We then look at the off handler to reset the disc.

  3. Step 3

Now as we are on a sideline we are in POSITION 2! This means our first look is the off handler striking up line to both try and get the disc but also clear space for the fill from the front of the stack. The stack CANNOT creep towards the disc.

  4. Step 4

Off handler strikes up line looking for the disc, front of stack sets up their cut and then comes back for the fill.

  5. Step 5

The off handler who just struck and did not get the disc should be aware that they could make a seven cut to still be open. Thrower hits one of these two cuts. Now that we're in the middle again off of a swing look for open continues or set up in POSITION 1 again.

  6. Step 6

We hit a continue to the sideline and now we're going to call POSITION 3. This is very similar to POS 1 but we call it if we're on a sideline. We need the off handler to push behind the disc in Bernie or Trail and then our primary look is the front of the stack just like POS 1.

  7. Step 7

This can be called on open or break sideline. We need the thrower to communicate clearly they want POS 3 as usually on the sideline we will be looking for POS 2. Throw to the front of the stack or straight back to the off handler for what will likely be a give and go opportunity.
