Step by step 5 steps
  1. Step 1

Mid Orientation. Center Disc setup and orientation. This is the perfect "brick" setup. Off a pull or when the disc is turned in the central area. There are no players behind the disc. One generally aims to center the disc of the pull if possible.

  2. Step 2

If the pull lands near the sideline and there is no time to center the disc to the middle. Sideline should be communicated and setup. This is also our go to when the disc is on the sideline for a turn. This first is off the pull, what you were called generally will adjust as follows. Note the rotation of the deep players and the adjustment of the short. There are now two players behind the disc. Two in line and 2 in front.

  3. Step 3

Sideline off a turn (Roles need to be communicated). Who is hat, who stay or goes back, who runs deep or sideline.

  4. Step 4

On our Endzone sideline. Note the depth of the short players. Very likely that defense will poach this to make it harder for 'isolated' hat/4 to get open. This make the position of the shorts very important as they can then be used for immediate flow/swing options if poached.
