First Cut

First cutter resets. Second cutter cuts

Step 4

Second cutter gets the disc! They can now decide to reset to handler, or continue moving the disc up. The stack will respond to movement of the disc by making deep and under cuts. Handler moves to get the reset.

Step 5

To avoid the defense, cutters will make 'V' shaped cuts, faking their first cut, and changing direction quickly. The other players in the stack can also start making mid-field cuts, to give more options to the handler in case the deep cuts aren't a great opportunity.

Step 6

If no options are good, the Handler should receive the disc again, and the cutters should run to the stack as quickly as possible. At this point, the play is reset and we start the vertical stack play once again.
