Blue has the disc near the endzone. The cup is formed forcing middle. 1, 2, and 3 are in the cup. 4 and 5 are the wings. 6 is short deep. 7 is deep deep.
Wing 4 is back to protect against easy hammers to the back cone. Wing 5 is pinched in both towards the center of the field as well as towards the backfield. The cup and short deep are playing mostly normally. With no deep space to defend, the deep deep can defend the space behind the 5 wing.
The 5 wings pressure should prevent a throw to the far handler. So, we expect the throw to go to the middle handler.
As the cup is catching up, maintaining the force, the 5 is still pinched but if needed can drop back to ensure no scoring pass ahead of the cup. Deep deep is sliding over to help with the space behind. The 4 wing is still looking to defend hammers but also shifting with the cup as is the short deep.
We expect the throw to go to the far side handler and then the 5 wing steps back to block space while the cup catches up with help from the deep deep on over the top stuff.
Cup catches up, forcing back to the middle. Everything is about the same as step one, only flipped.
