Pull
The handlers are playing person defense. IT doesn't matter if they have three back or one setting the stack, it is person defense on them. The mark is forcing straight up. Notice how the 4, 5 6 and 7 defensive players are in a small "bracketing" zone.
As the offense begins to cut, players 4 and 5 on defense are responsible for all the "unders" and players 6 and 7 are taking care of the "deeps". They switch who they are guarding depending on who is going into the lane.
More flow.
More flow
It is super important for the deeps of the bracket (players 6 and 7) to be talking to the 4 and 5 so they know who to pick up. If 4 and 5 want to turn around and face downfield to see who is coming in and when, that is perfectly fine.
Reset to Horizontal Stack
Same concept with a bracket under and over the top of the cutters.
Flow
Flow
This is most deadly when we have them stuck on the sideline. The mark shifts to sideline force.
Flow, lots of switching going on so communicate
flow, handler defense prevents uplines as best they can.
