For player responsibilities view description. Positions: 1=MidMid, 2=Left Sag, 3=Right Sag, 4=LD, 5=TD, 6=BD, 7=RD

Step 2

Disc is swung to H3. RS3 now slides over and takes away sideline then sets a straight-up mark. MM1 takes away throws to the middle while LS2 comes towards the middle of the field and takes away swing options giving up big swing/hammer across the field. Also note how diamond shifts to cover that open area more effectively.

Step 3

If Disc is swung back to the middle, defense resets.

Step 4

Disc is swung to H2. LS2 now slides over and takes away sideline the sets a straight-up mark.. MM1 takes away throws to the middle. Now lets take a look at how the downfield defenders work together covering in and out cuts

Any in cuts will be covered by base of diamond while any out cuts will be covered by the top of the diamond. LS and RS will pick up when disc swung to side.

Step 8

If cuts come back in TD will pass off to another defender

Step 9

If C4 and 5 cut deep. Both LD4 and TD5 cover deep on their respective side.

Step 10

C5 strikes back in while BD6 gets ready to poach in. (Note: take a look at how MM1 and LS2 change positions as the handlers begin to shift).

Step 11

BD6 defense intercepts pass for the T.O.
