    player with the disc looks downfield until stall 3/4 depending on confidence. Notice that the handlers line up basically level with the disc, to allow for a cut back or forward, and to not block the lane.

  2. Step 2

    to initiate the rotation, the thrower will square their hips with the handlers.

    first option is back

    second option is straight back up, allowing the thrower to float the disc into space.

    the next handler will make the same cut.

    notice that we do not want to swing the disc here, because that would move it further to the open side, trapping us on the sideline. instead the handlers will just move into position.
