These are the basics to the vertical stack play. Notice how our cuts are always big triangles.
1, 2, 4, and 5 will always run to the not open-side (break side). This allows 3 to have lots of space to make an in cut into the open side
3 cuts under and 6 throws to 3. As this is happening 5 is cutting out. Since 6 and 7 are "handlers", they are moving up the field but are always behind the frisbee in case we need an easy throw to reset the stall count.
5 comes under and 3 throws to 5. Notice that 1, 2 and 4 are running up the field on the sideline to stay at the same level as 5 and the disc. This is so 4 can get ready for the continuation cut.
4 cuts out, just like 5. Notice that 3 runs to join 1 and 2 on the sideline
4 comes under and 5 throws to 4. Again, 2, 1 and 3 are running up the sideline to stay at the same level as 4 and so that 2 can get ready for their out and in cut
