Blue (OUR TEAM) has moved the disc close to the end zone. Red has switched to a man defense, and we'll assume they're generally forcing us to our flick. "1" and "2" our our handlers.
We want to start the play by making sure the center handler ("1") has the disc - so the pass is made. As this happens "4, 5, 6 and 7" form a vertical stack towards the left side of the endzone. "3" moves to the left as well, and "2" positions for a dump if needed.
We will designate a player before the point to be our first cutter. Let's say this is number "5". With the field wide open, "5" will try and make a hard cut across. FIRST THEY FAKE ONE DIRECTION.
THEN THEY GO FOR THE FRONT CORNER.
SCENARIO 2 - RESET STACK
This time, player "5" is unsuccessful.
So, player "5" clears out, and player "3" moves in.
SCENARIO 3 - CYCLE CONTINUES (RESET STACK)
Player "5" is unsuccessful.
Player "3" is also unsuccessful.
Stall count is high, so "1" dumps to "2" as "3" clears out.
The cycle now starts over again with "6" making the first cut. "1" moves to the side ready to make in the in-cut again if "6" is unsuccessful. If both player were unsuccessful again, we would probably break the play and go for whatever we can at that point.
