Ok. We have the disc in the center of the field. We want our handler to set up on the force side at a 45 degree angle away from the disc, with enough room to make cuts behind the handler or upfield.
Basic offense is usually back stack cuts first.
But, she's covered and has to get back into the stack.
The important thing is that, if possible, we want to get the disc on the break side and then attack the break side because it is easier to get open over there.
Option 1: Player 2 goes for what we call the 'dishy' dump play behind the disc.
This gives Player 2 a second where she/he is unmarked and can then complete the break to Player 3. We can then look to Player 6 for a continuation.
Let's reset back to the center.
Option 2: this time, Player 2 has a bit of trouble and he doesn't get the disc right away
Player 2 can then come back for the force side dump. This is not ideal, but it resets the stall count and gives us another chance to make plays downfield.
Reset...
This time, Defender 2 knows the dishy is coming, and is looking to poach.
Player 2 can then go up-line.
And use this position to huck downfield.
Reset...
If Player 2 can't get the disc after making a couple moves
Going back, still not working
Player 2 needs to clear out and leave room for Player 3 to come in.
Player 3 can look at the defense and choose to go breakside if the throw looks open.
OR if Defender 3 is playing more straight up, they can just attack the force side for an easy under to reset the disc.
