  2. Step 2

Basic Set up: (1): When disc is in the middle of the field, the mark is flat, forcing them to throw to either side handler. (2 and 3): Slightly behind the mark, about 10 feet from thrower. Prevent upfield throws. (4): "Mid-Mid": Defends the middle of the field where the poppers are cutting. Talks to the wall about people crashing in. (5 and 6): "Wings": Defends the area on their side of the field, works with the Mid-Mid. (7): "Monster": Prevents deep throws. Talks to Mid-Mid and Wings on who is cutting where.

  3. Step 3

Disc is Swung to a Sideline: (3) becomes the mark, forcing the throw towards the middle of the field (1) drops back to prevent the upfield throw. (2) positions themselves to stop the crossfield throw, forcing the handler to reset back to the apex handler. (6) SPRINTS to the sideline as the disc is swung to prevent the throw to the wing. (4) positions themselves in the gap between 1 and 2 to prevent the poppers from getting the disc in the middle of the field. Continues to talk to the wall. (5) pinches slightly over to help the mid-mid if needed. Stays in their third of the field. (7) guards the deep threat, staying even with the last person upfield. Continues to talk to mid-mid and wings.

  5. Step 5

Swings to the other Sideline: (2) becomes mark, forces throw to the middle of the field. (1) drops slightly back to prevent the upfield throw. (3) positions themselves to stop the crossfield throw, forcing the handler to throw back to the middle handler. (5) SPRINTS to the sideline to prevent the upfield throw to the offensive wing. (4) positions themselves in the gap between 2 and 3 to guard the poppers. Continues to talk to the wall on who is crashing in. (6) pinches in slightly to help the Mid-Mid. Stays in their third of the field. (7) Guards the deep threat, staying even with them. Continues to talk to the Mid-Mid and the wings.

  6. Step 6

Popper Crashes into Cup: (1) the person in the middle crashes with that popper. Stay with that popper until they get parallel to the person with the disc. Wing (5) and Mid Mid (4) help by pinching in to that space.

  10. Step 10

RECOVER AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. ( (4) Mid Mid takes the biggest threat (probably the other popper). (5 and 6) cover the wing offenders, (1) SPRINTS to put on a mark. (2 and 3) cover the easy throws.

  12. Step 12

OPTION A: If the throw gets through the wall ...

  13. Step 13

And they work it up the field very quickly ...

    12345671234567
  14. Step 14

Monster yells "FIRE!!!!" and we play person defense. Everyone on the field and on the sideline echoes FIRE. FASTEST TRANSITION OF YOUR LIVES. (7) takes last back. (4, 5, and 6) take the next three that are farthest back (probably the other three cutter). (1, 2, and 3) cover the handlers. Our force is FLICK for the most part. We will call it on the line before we pull the disc.

  15. Step 15

OPTION B: If they work it up the field and we get within 20 yds of our endzone ...

    12345671234567
  16. Step 16

Monster or Coaches yell "FIRE" and you pick up a person as noted previously. Monster takes last back. Middle tier takes the next furthest back. Wall takes handlers. Force is flick (probably).
