Red is offense, blue is defence, and yellow is the disc. Vert stack set up. Two handlers stay back, one handler (3) sets the stack, the cutters stack behind.
Last person in the stack (aka the 5th person in the stack), makes the first moves and has the option to either come under or go deep. In this example, they decide to come under.
The second last person in the stack (the 4th person in the stack), plays off of the last person in the stack and will react to what they're given. In this example because the last person came under, the individual will go deep for the continue.
Last person in stack will receive disc.
Second last person in stack will come under closer to player to create an easier pass.
They will receive the disc.
Last person in stack, after they've passed the disc, they will cycle (return) back into the stack where they can find space. As they do that, the entire stack and the handlers shift back. They need to move along with the play, they can't stay back or else we can't score.
In a game situation, the opponents will catch up to their players to play defence.
#5 decides to be the continue for #6 and cuts into the endzone.
#5 receives the pass to score the point.
