  2. Step 2

Blue sets up Ho-Stack. Since we are talking about handler cuts, we will assume the disc is at stall 4 and needs to be reseted. Cutters may be involved, but are not the main source of resetting

  3. Step 3

From the middle, Handler #5 is your first look for an easy breakthrow, but its very quick look and should not be forced.

    12345671234567
  4. Step 4

Back to mid, your second look is Handler #7 for a swing.

    12345671234567
  5. Step 5

Back to mid, three main things can happen to the handler #7 reset. 1. the poaching in the lane to block the throw to cutters. As handler #7 you can stay and receive the swing, or drag cut.

    12345671234567
  6. Step 6

Drag cut provides a breakthrow look to Handler #5. Handler #6 becomes side handler and Handler #7 becomes mid.

    12345671234567
  7. Step 7

Back to mid for the second situation, 2. if handler #7 takes the swing instead of the drag cut, handler #6 runs a strike cut (with 7 cut at the end =D) and handler #5 fills in and awaits reset.

  9. Step 9

back to mid for third situation, 3. If handler #7 is guarded closely, you can chisel cut. If he doesn't follow immediately, a tight throw can be made..

    12345671234567
  10. Step 10

If the defended follows handler #7 hard, handler #7 cuts back.

    12345671234567
  11. Step 11

An option to continue this reset is to have handler #7 drag cut for a dump.

    12345671234567
  12. Step 12

If handler #7 is covered, handler #5 can strike cut and Cutter #1 can provide the breakside look. This happens after the drag cut from handler #7 has been acknowledged (2 stalls).

  13. Step 13

Resets on forced sideline: YAY!! After the easy break glace (or super swing to handler #5), handler #6 can either strike cut into a 7 cut.

    12345671234567
  14. Step 14

or rail cut (just stopping your strike cut midway). Note: If the rail cut is unsuccessful, run strike.

    12345671234567
  15. Step 15

Back to forced side, when handler #6 strikes and doesn't rail cut, handler #5 can fill in and provide a second option.

  20. Step 20

Two more things (Not shown), 1. If a cutter catches a disc:, reset immediately if they are inexperienced (reset behind them). If they are experienced, treat them as a temporary handler, and have a handler clear into the cutter #1 spot temporarily. 2. When resetting, look and square up body with the resetting cut.
