Step by step 7 steps
  1. Step 1

This drill is designed to work on getting 5 breakmark reps in a short period of time while also working on continuation cut timing. You need 8 people to run this drill and I would recommend no more than 11 to keep everyone moving hard.

  2. Step 2

    (7) has 5 discs and will be throwing them to (6) who is breaking the mark (1). (5) is our initiating cutter and times hit cut to change direction when (6) receives the first pass. (1) is setting up to prepare a continuation cut

  3. Step 3

    (5) slashes across the field and recieves a breakmark pass from (6). (5) should be able to look up and see (1) turning around to receive the continuation. The key for (1) is to shoulder check! (4) moves up to be next in line to cut.

  4. Step 4

    (5) hits one on the continue and starts a continue cut deep while (4) starts the next rep. (1) clears out of the way and returns the disc to (7)

  5. Step 5

This continues until 5 passes are completed, you then rotate to have the centering pass become the mark, the marker become the thrower, and the thrower get into the stack.

  6. Step 6

You can switch the force once everyone has gone through once and move the centering pass to the other side of the field.
