Handler (1b) has disc on side of pitch that he is being forced, 'Goal Side'. This gives the offensive a great chance to score through their handler movement.
Handler (2b) cuts towards the defender, putting the defender on their heels, without knowing which way (2b) will go. Obviously the upline cut is the most dangerous, but many defenders will try to bid on everything, thus not fully cover the upline.
Handler (2b) cuts upline into the endzone, beating the defender into the endzone and receiving a pass for the score.
In this alternate scenario, if the defender covers the upline cut from (2b) well, (2b) still runs through their cut. This is still a scoring opportunity. As (2b) hits the end of their cut, and hasn't received a pass, they can cut hard back across the front of the endzone, where (1b) can throw an IO backhand break for the goal. This MUST go as soon as possible after (2b) has turned, or the chance will be missed. An around forehand break from (1b) will likely be too close to (5r) and has a chance of being D'd.
(2b) hits the line and starts to turn
(2b) gets the score
Alternatively, (7r) may be too tight to (2b) for this throw to go, as such a reset is required, so (3b) has set up their reset cut.
(3b) comes under for the reset. (1b) breaks their force around to throw to (3b).
(3b) is then in a position to throw to a cut from the back of stack to the breakside.
