Step by step 26 steps
  1. Step 1

In the event of a stoppage or if we have time to set up an endzone play we will then run the endzone play. The endzone play should be something that is simple and effective if we run it well.

  2. Step 2

This is how we should set up the endzone play.

    12345671234567
  3. Step 3

There should only be 2 person cutting and that is number 1 and number 4. It doesn't matter who it is, if you are in that position, you are the person cutting.

    12345671234567
  4. Step 4

Number 4 cuts to the open side and Number 1 cuts towards the break side.

    12345671234567
  5. Step 5

The thrower then decides to throw it to the person who has better separation.

  6. Step 6

    Reset.

    12345671234567
  7. Step 7

If both the players are covered, the thrower then holds the throw off.

    12345671234567
  8. Step 8

The two cutters then clears out and join towards the back of the stack. Remember that Number 2 & 3 are never cutting.

    12345671234567
  9. Step 9

We then initiate the dump set and reset the endzone play again if the dump set doesn't result in a score. Crucial thing to note is that we want to retain possession.

    12345671234567
  10. Step 10

If the disc is on the break sideline, this is how we should set up.

    12345671234567
  11. Step 11

Number 2 & 3 should provide enough space for Number 4 to cut and to prevent a "Pick" from happening. Number 4 should be the only person cutting.

    12345671234567
  12. Step 12

The thrower then decides to throw to Number 4 if the cut is open.

    12345671234567
  13. Step 13

If not, we then run the dump set while Number 4 clears back into the stack.

    12345671234567
  14. Step 14

Number 4 gets into the stack and we swing it to the Open side dump.

    12345671234567
  15. Step 15

Once we swing it, we will then try to throw to Number 1 in the stack who will be cutting towards the open side for the continuation.

    12345671234567
  16. Step 16

If the disc is on the open sideline, this is how we should set up. Number 2 & 3 are providing enough space for Number 4 again.

    12345671234567
  17. Step 17

Number 4 is the first one cutting again and no one else should be cutting. The thrower can then throw the easy score.

    12345671234567
  18. Step 18

If the cut is covered, we then run the break side dump set as per usual while Number 4 clears back into the stack.

    12345671234567
  19. Step 19

If we can hit the upline for a score then good, but if not then don't force it because we always have a fill which will come from the front of the stack and NOT the far side handler.

    12345671234567
  20. Step 20

    Upline score.

    12345671234567
  21. Step 21

    Reset.

    12345671234567
  22. Step 22

Swing it to the fill and we reset the endzone play again.

    12345671234567
  23. Step 23

If there is a massive poach, we should just swing it immediately.

    12345671234567
  24. Step 24

Swing to the middle handler as early as possible.

    12345671234567
  25. Step 25

Number 1 can then cut to the break side for the easy score.
