Defense (red) plays zone There are 4 handlers on offense (blue). 1 and 2 are the main handlers. They create opportunities to swing the disc to the side handlers (3 and 4) or they give and go between themselves

Step 3

disc starts to swing to the sideline while 7 tries to pull the deep defender with him to widen the middle section of the field

Step 4

left sideline handler (3) looks upfield to 5 and 6 if the pass is open. 5 and 6 run through the gaps of the mid defenders anticipating the pass. 7 cuts back to the side anticipating for a possible huck

Step 5

If the upfield passes are denied, 5 and 6 cut back out. and 3 looks for a dump to start the swing to the left side.

Swings to the sideline

Step 9

right sideline handler looks upfield for continuation pass to 5 and 6, if pass is denied, wait for cup to reset on him.

Step 10

pass is sent to 6, breaking the cup and creates more space, 6 turns and looks upfield for continuation. if possible, pass continues before cup is set

Step 11

Cup is set and 6 looks to reset back to the main handlers

Step 12

Disc is reset back to main handler and starts to swing, restarting the whole play.

Step 13

At this point, expect defense to switch to man at any moment.
