Step by step 8 steps
  1. Step 1

We use this play when there is a dead disc starting on the sideline, probably because we forced them to throw it out of bounds. The main goal is to get the disc off the line and get the offense moving.

  2. Step 2

Handlers 6 and 5 make (nearly) simultaneous upline cuts, clearing tons of space back field

  3. Step 3

As soon as 5 has cleared the space, 7 throws an around break into the middle of the field

  4. Step 4

2 runs onto the disc floating in space. 6 pushes upfield, 5 makes a "7-cut" (in case the around break throw didn't go off).

  5. Step 5

5 finishes their 7 cut. 2 has a quick look to continue the break to 1 (let's say it doesn't happen).

  6. Step 6

5 becomes the primary reset for 2, 7 becomes the secondary reset. 3 is making a continuation cut (onto the breakside), 4 is moving towards the lane to be the next cut, 6 takes the position on the sideline.

  7. Step 7

We're basically now in our Ho stack starting set up and can run our usual offense (assuming none of the breakside continuation throws worked...).

  8. Step 8

This is usual offense stuff (for more detail see "Ho to Side Stack".
