Initial setup. 1 is choosing one side to force. 2,3 is ready to run hard when the disc is swing towards the side line. if it isnt exactly on the side line it should be covered by 1. 5,6 acting like wings. 7 deep and talking to the rest of the team.
First swing and 3 anticipated movement and got to the disc super quick, had a chance to establish hard force towards the line with downfield overlook. 4 is stopping all short and mid down the field throws. 2 covers middle. Because 4 step so close to the line 6 is able to move away from the sideline and pouch on the middle plays as well. 5 has loads of ground to cover but those throws are difficult - depending on the offence 5 can pouch on 3 RED throw or cover mid field cuts plus overthrows and hummers. 7 deep
Back to the middle
This time 2 is on spot and trapping the disc. 4 lingers a little on middle hence 5 covers the deep by the side line. 3 moves closer to the 4 hence 6 adjusts bit closer to the swing, 1 closing the swing to 4 and if possible to stand in direct pass to 5 RED thats a plus.
Reset. Lets add more offensive players. Horizontal offense. 5 and 6 has to be close enough to close 1 and 7 RED. 2,6 RED should be easily stopped by the middle diamond.
Offense should activate 3,5 handlers - they should move forward gaining as much field as possible. If they move in straight line and stay close to the side line this activates 2 and 3 to trap and everyone adjust positions.

If 3,5 moves in towards the middle 1 takes over the mark - keeping a semi solid structure is a key. if there is RED player staying behind let it be - we want trap the side line. Those are small gains and we cant cover everything it is more important to not open dangerous angles allowing passes that we wont be able to recover from.
Now 3 can finally trap. Everyone else adjust positions. 5 allows deep cut that is covered by 7 and pouches on swing across the field.
