Defense sets up zone
Offense recognizes Cup Zone and sets up Zone Ho Stack
Option 1: Up-field throw to #1 handler on force side for free yards.
Option 1 (cont'd): Immediate dump to #2 handler before the cup can defend it.
Option 1 (cont'd): Immediate swing to #3 handler before the cup can defend it.
Option 1 (cont'd): Defender #6 has to decide between cutter #6 and #7. Throw to open cutter.
Option 1 (cont'd): No up-field throw open, give back to handler as a dump.
Reset to step 4
Option 2: #4 defender guards #1 handler - so handler #2 puts it over the top to cutter #4.
Option 2 (cont'd): cutter #4 quickly dumps it to handler #1
Option 2 (cont'd): Handler #1 looks for a quick swing to handler #3 or dump to handler #2 before cup sets up. Cutters reset positions.
If swing or dump-and-swing are not there, look for a #3 handler crash.
During cup reset quickly throw dump back to handler #1 looking for a dump-and -swing
#6 defender will have to choose between #3, #6, and #7 cutting. Pass to the open cutter (#4 might even be forgotten from the Last Back #7 defender.
Reset to Step 4
Option 3: #6 cutter cuts in and tries to crash in between #2 and #3 defender. This opens up a whole for a break side swing to #3 or option 1 - throw to #1 handler
Option 3 (cont'd): #3 handler throws up-field to #7 cutter
Option 3 (cont'd): #7 cutter sees no throw up-field and gets it back to a handler
Same place as step 9. Force side, up-field throw open to handler #2
Option 4, ALL OPTIONS: #3 handler goes for dump, moving cup #1 defender to guard dump, leaving cut for #6 cutter to get break throw in between #1 and #2 defender. Meanwhile, #1 looks for a free up-field throw. #3 cup cutter and #4 move to guard him. #7 cutter, who is poached, takes an in cut in space while #5 brings out his defender.
