Player 1 with the disc is the focus of this drill. They will be striving for a high possession decision with the disc, among three progressive choices. Completions within the determined field space are rewarded, while turnovers are punished (-2 for mistakes)
Player 2 fakes out to try and find and inside lane against their defender.
At this point, Player 1 must decide if they will attempt the open side pass (+1 if complete) before Player 2 gets too close. The cone represents "too close" in this setup.
If the throw doesn't go up, Player 2 cuts hard to the break side, the clearing portion of a good offensive cut. Player 1 now decides if they will attempt to break side pass (+2 if complete) before Player 2 runs out of space. The cone again represents the limitations of cutting space upfield.
If both upfield throws are a poor choice, Player 1 looks behind to find their dump option.
A successful reset is rewarded for maintaining possession of the disc (+1).
