  2. Step 2

D players make their way down field. O players set up in a Horizontal stack

  3. Step 3

Ideally O handler (3b) would like to centre the disc to (2b). However, (2r) has managed to get down the pitch fast enough to put them off this throw. (3r) has also put himself in the way of a throw to (6b).

  4. Step 4

D players set up. (3b) calls the cutting pair (6b) and (7b). (7b) is cutting off (6b) so waits for their move before moving themselves. (6b) takes a step deep to set up an undercut. Notice that the cutters on the opposite side of the field (4b & 5b) stay out of the way, and don't move as the cutters run their play. These cutters will only get involved if the play falls down,

  5. Step 5

(6b) has space under but the throw doesn't go. (7b) cuts deep as (6b) went under.

    12345671234567
  6. Step 6

The O handler floats the disc out to (7b) who has cut under as (6b) cleared out. (6b) is now a couple of steps deep of his man. This is a great option for a huck, and to gain a lot of ground.

  7. Step 7

(6b) runs down the huck. (4b) has got ahead of his man, and (6b) can throw a lead pass.

  8. Step 8

(4b) would love to throw the disc for a score to (5b). (5b) is well marked by (5r), though, so they look elsewhere.

    12345671234567
  9. Step 9

Handler (1b) has made their way down towards (4b) and is available for a pop-pass. As a handler (1b) is likely a safer option on the disc than (4b) is so it is good to get a handler on the disc in the 'red-zone'.

  10. Step 10

The cutters set up in an end-zone vert stack in order to maximise the space they can score in. Handler (3b) moves to be front of stack.

    12345671234567
  11. Step 11

Back of stack is the first cut, so (5b) makes a cut to the front corner of the endzone.

    12345671234567
  12. Step 12

(5r) gets their body in the way, and (1b) decides a throw to (5b) would be too risky. They decide to be patient, and initiate (2b) so that they can reset the disc to the centre of the pitch, giving good options for scoring.

    12345671234567
  13. Step 13

(2b)'s cut towards the endzone has given them tons of space to recieve the disc in. (1b) breaks the force and throws into space for (2b) to collect the disc. Due to their cut, (2b)'s man is not close enough to block an around throw.

  14. Step 14

(2r) is slow to get on the force, so (2b) hits (6b) on the break side with an around throw. GOAL!
