  1. Step 1

    Red: 1 and 2 are traditional shooters and have the same responsibilities as in 2-3-2 zone. 3 and 4 are a 2 person wall. They cannot let any disc get between them. 3 and 4 are 10 feet from the disc and are arms width apart. 5 and 6 are corners and have similar responsibilities as in a cup zone. 5 is responsible for the throwing lane between 1 and 3. 6 is responsible for the throwing lane between 2 and 4. 7 is the deep and has the same responsibilities.

  2. Step 2

    If the disc is swung to the sideline, 1 and 2 continue shooting. 1 will mark a little flatter and 2 will prevent the swing. 3 and 4 are still the same distance from the shooters and from each other, but they are a little tilted to block off the upfield on the open side. 5 is still responsible for the throwing lane between 1 and 3. 6 is still responsible for the throwing lane between 2 and 4. 5 and 6 base their positioning on these throwing lanes.
