Defender sets up at one end zone, while a handler and cutter are at the other endzone.
Defender sprints down into coverage while cutter slowly jogs to cone.
As the defender approaches, they need to break down so the offensive player can't just run by them. In this example the defender is taking away the deep cut.
Cutter cuts out, defender's job is to stay between the cutter and the deep force side (forehand) space.
Once the deep cut is suffocated the cutter will cut in at about 80%, and the defender will try to make a layout past the cutter for the D.
This drill can also be changed where the defender takes away the first in cut, and a 50/50 huck goes up off of a deep cut after an in cut has been made first.
