Start state: Off-handler (B2) positions 10-15 degree off Handler with disc (B1)
2 Options: Break-side Strike and Swing
Option 1 (Phase I): Break-side Strike. Remember NOT TO ANGLE THE CUT too much as it will make the throw very squeezy. Just a slight angle or even running straight.
Option 1 (Phase II): Break-side continuation with in-cut (B7) or huck (B6)
-
Option 2 (Phase I): B2 makes a break-side strike attempt, to MAKE SPACE for the swing.
Option 2 (Phase II): B2 cuts back for the swing. Remember NOT TO GO CLOSER to B1!
Option 2 (Phase III): Play continues as per usual. Downfield cutters attempt to get free either open side (B7) or break-side (B6).
-
CONTINGENCY (Phase I): Failed strike attempt by B2
CONTINGENCY (Phase II): B2 cuts back, but is still unable to get free for the swing
CONTINGENCY (Phase III): B2 clears out by the strike, 3rd Handler (B3) cuts down to receive the swing
CONTINGENCY (Phase IV): Play continues as per usual with open side (B7) or break-side (B6) cuts. **B2 is now the new front of stack**
