Step by step 7 steps

  2. Step 2

the poaches form a sudo cup that allows but contests swings and pushes them right back where they came from. the rails make sure to look out for any over-the-top throw. the mid-mid makes sure to block any up the middle throw and follows any poppers from the offense.

  3. Step 3

as the disc swings to one side, that side poach doesnt allow any upline throw and forces the throw back towards the middle.

  4. Step 4

on a full swing the team shifts to similar positions as the other side. this is the worst swing to let happen and needs to be heavily contested as it makes our whole defense have to shift

  5. Step 5

on a normal swing the first responsibility is to push the disc back to where it came from. this means that the team doesnt have to move as much and the mid-mid is able to stay in position better.

  6. Step 6

when the disc does actually make it up field, the poaches hurry to return to their positions while the mid and rails hurry back field to cover the next upfield throw. this is where the defense can be broken.

  7. Step 7

in general the poaches should be in line with each other. the mid and rails are pulled in and out as cutters pop. the monster will always protect the deep and call a rail back if needed to help with multiple deep options.
