Step by step 16 steps
  1. Step 1

The zone is thrown. We decided who the worst handler is and we pick on em. I mean we force that way or with the wind.

  2. Step 2

The MW(midwall) is stopping anything in the middle, LW(leftwall) is stopping any major throw through. The RW(rightwall) is in the break lane.

  3. Step 3

the disc is thrown to the force side. If they continue to throw it to the sideline that's perfect. At this point the mark cannot let a break throw off and should be trying their hardest.

  4. Step 4

The MW holds and stops any soft break. The LW first stops any up line continuation. The RW stops and break through to 2 or 5.

  5. Step 5

The LW stops the crash. We will only stop the crashes right here and it will always be the strong side of the wall. Hammer stops are just close enough to discourage any over the top throw.

  6. Step 6

The disc does get off the sideline. The M(mark) runs a wide angle and probably doesn't even put on a full mark just yet. the MW really has to stop any continue into the middle of the field. The RW finds "4" and gets in the throwing lane to them the entire way.

  7. Step 7

RW is stopping the up line continue at all costs. MW is stopping any break continue into the middle of the field. HS(hammerstops) are still just discouraging over the top throws. they can pinch if its windy.

  8. Step 8

LW opens up (goes upfield a bit) to bait the throw back across the handler line. they are not trying to get d's RW and MW are pretty much matchup until the offense moves out of their zones.

  9. Step 9

M puts on a flat mark that is shaded a bit to force the disc back. MW has moved back to the open side. RW is stopping any break again.

  10. Step 10

At this point M has to really push the disc back so their mark is nearly perpendicular now. That means MW and LW have to stop continues to the middle of the field.

  11. Step 11

Still just shifting with the disc. This handler will typically try to continue the swing to "3" LW is stopping any up field throwing lane.

  12. Step 12

The disc is swung. HS's adjust and D(deep) gets ready for any kind of desperation huck.

  13. Step 13

The wall did its job and there are no up field continues.

  14. Step 14

The disc goes up because we're great and they're impatient.

  15. Step 15

We get the D or they throw a bad throw. we will typically stay in this zone the entire way even in the endzone because it its puts our defense in throwing lanes that some teams cannot adjust to.
