Basic Zone setup
Disc is swung to the sideline. Trap is called
The mid (2) marks the disc straight into the sideline. Chaser (3) becomes the middle of the cup. Wing (4) on the trap side moves forward to block throws up the sideline. Chaser (1) plays man coverage on the dump.
The short deep (6) moves in to prevent and short hammers over the top of the cup and wing (5) waits for a floating swing pass to D.
2 gets broken and the disc makes it across the field
Five prevents the disc from continuing up field as the deep comes across and the short deep blocks the middle of the field.
The cup works on resetting, blocking upfield first
The force is usually always one direction so the cup resets and leaves easy swings open to the trap side.
The disc is quickly swung to the dump and across the field.
